The weather was perfect the day I visited Karen at her wonderful studio & shop in Skerries Mill.
A beautiful place to call your office and to be able to bring your office outside for the wonderful views !
It was such a pleasure to meet, chat and watch Karen at work, a very talented and lovely lady.
If you are ever near Skerries make sure and call in to see Karen’s wonderful work on display.
Yogaramics is a unique daylong workshop ran by Elaine & Carol combining yoga, relaxation techniques and pottery making.
These workshops are really special and a complete chill out , perfect for the hectic routines of today. A lovely treat for you or a lovely Mother’s Day present !
Apart from the fact that I really enjoy photographing people at work, getting to know them & hearing all about their business, I also believe that having a collection of high quality images that will promote your business in a very personal way is so important, especially these days when social media plays such a huge part in everyone’s life.
So I decided to ask some past clients why they decided to book a You & Your Business Photo Session & how they are using the images from their session.
It is always lovely to visit a studio and capture a crafter/artist at work in their creative space.
I got to know Vanessa a few years ago when my daughter Anna used to attend her craft classes, summer camps & she also came to our house one year to provide some crafting fun for Anna’s birthday party. Her space is full of interesting corners and clever storage solutions.
Another very talented lady I photographed at work recently, capturing some images for her marketing material.
It is lovely to see the images on her promotional cards etc at a recent exhibition of her work. Showing how important it is to have good professional images for your business while giving people a little glimpse of the person behind the paintings.
This gorgeous quirky cottage in Arigna, Co. Letrim was recently renovated by the very creative Angi Dixon. I spent a lovely afternoon documenting the arrival of a group of creatives for a weekend retreat and all the little details that make this place that little bit different.
I first photographed Karo back in 2013 and since then have enjoyed coffees, chats and filling my house with her gorgeous work. When she asked me back to photograph her At Work and some portraits in her new home I was thrilled – such a relaxed enjoyable morning’s work.
Thank you Karo for making it so easy.
