The lovely Donadea Forest provided lots of lovely little areas for this cute young boy’s photo session. Such a happy, cheeky gorgeous little boy.

This little girl was such a joy to photograph, all excited running around the fields & forest in The Curragh.
Full of personality and loving the freedom that comes with walking !
Trying to get some family photos can be very tricky if you have small children, having a photo session at home can be a lot easier than trying to get little children to sit still in a studio.
Also I think it is easier to capture their little personalities when they are relaxed and in an environment they know.
Each year I get to meet, chat to & photograph lots of great fathers, some new first time Dads & some Dads that are well used to it all !!
Each year I get to meet, chat to & photograph so many wonderful mothers, I get to offer some advice & reassurance to new mothers & get advice myself from some not so new mothers !!
What I always hope to get is the connection & the love, to make some memories.
Unfortunately in the past year I said farewell to two wonderful mothers, taken way too early in life – as I stood watching slide shows of photos their families had put together I cried & smiled at the same time, so happy to see all the memories that had been captured, so many happy photos of a mum and her children.
Get in the photos with your children ladies, please, it is so important & then print those photos.

Little Niamh photographed just before she takes off and starts running around the place!
Another stage to adjust to, love the happiness the shows on the faces of toddlers starting to walk, they just love the new found freedom.
Busy house with lots of fun times ahead, I had lovely morning Fiona, David, Sienna, Elliot and the newest member baby Olivier, just 1 week old, in their gorgeous home.
