It was a little bit of a grey rainy day back in July but that didn’t stop this gorgeous couple from having a super relaxed, fun-filled day in Co. Clare – I don’t think Lorraine stopped smiling and laughing all day.
After their ceremony in Ballyvauhgan church we stopped into the gorgeous Gregans Castle Hotel with the amazing Burren as a backdrop for some Bridal party and couple photos.
Then onto the Doolin Hotel to celebrate the day with friends and family.
Lorraine and Ger were such a wonderful couple to photograph and be around on this important day , surrounded by a wonderful group of friends and family I am sure the party was a good one ! Thank you all for making it such a great day to document.
Also a big shout out to Gavin from Dreamcatcher Productions for the lifts and his wonderful work on the day.
Check out their gorgeous couple shoot in Kinvara.
“Once we had found the wedding venue I started researching photographers. We didn’t intend to book a videographer so I was keen to make sure that we chose the perfect photographer to capture our day. I spent hours searching the internet & came across a beautiful wedding shoot that Christine Burns had featured on the website ‘One Fab Day’. I loved the way she had captured the wedding in a natural, informal style & the way she used the light & reflections were amazing. You could get a real feel for the wedding from start to finish, it was almost like she was telling their story through the photos. It was exactly what we wanted for our day. Once I contacted her I found her a pleasure to deal with & really enjoyed our emails back & forth.
We first met Christine in person for some couple photos about six weeks before the wedding. It was a misty day in Kinvara, Co. Clare but that didn’t stop Christine from taking some beautiful photos, she even managed to amuse our little dog Maggie & get her looking at the camera. They are photos that we will treasure forever.
The morning of our wedding, Christine breezed into the house & we hardly even knew she was there. My Mam was a bit nervous about having a photographer there for make-up etc. but she instantly relaxed once she met Christine. We put a lot of work into making our wedding individual & personal, we added as many little touches as we could to the church & venue & I have to say, Christine missed nothing, capturing even the smallest little details. Our wedding day was probably one of the only wet & dreary days out of the entire month of July. I nearly cried when I woke up & looked out the window but it actually didn’t even matter in the end. Christine did an amazing job & we could not be any happier with the results. I will never get tired of looking back over all of the pictures, we are so lucky to have found Christine to capture our day in the way she did.” ~ Lorraine & Ger

This is one of the finest wedding shoots and story-telling sets I’ve seen in some time Christine, a really beautiful job, editing is superb … you should be proud, very stylish indeed. I bet Lorraine and Ger are delighted. Well done! T
