The birth of a baby is one of the most amazing and wonderful things in the world, and there is nothing I love more than to photograph new-born and young babies – and sneak a little cuddle or two.
Its been hard to keep up with everything these days because of school holidays and I am afraid my blog updates have suffered.
So I decided to blog some pretty little ballet dancers to try get back into it.
A ballet studio with fabulous natural light, two beautiful performers and some wonderful ballet moves – a perfect combination.
Slowly catching up with some photo sessions from before our holidays.
Here is another beautiful girl on her communion day, I did get a few photos of Ciara on the actual day, but we did her photo session a few days after in the grounds of Carton House, Maynooth, Co. Kildare on a lovely sunny evening.
Our son Michael is so lucky to have a great set of friends, some of them he has been best friends with since starting Naíonra (preschool) 6 yrs ago.
They are his life! so important to him and now they are a little older they are able to walk around to each other so he is never at home 🙂
For this reason I was determined to get some group photos of them all dressed up for their communion day, I guess they are not the traditional First Holy Communion photos but they are photos that show them having a laugh together. Getting these photos on the day didn’t really happen easily so below are mostly photos taken a couple of days later.
Here are a few that I did manage to take on the day!
It’s coming near the end of First Holy Communion season for another year, this year was a little different as my son was making his so I got to experience the big day first hand this year!
This is Katie a few days before her big day, she was an absolute joy to photograph and her little brother, Jimmy, was so much fun. I adore her fabulous hair and it looked so striking against her lovely dress. She changed into her new outfit and played me a little tune! I had a wonderful time photographing and getting to know Katie and her family.
